The initiative is part of a set of actions aimed at promoting the resumption of productive activities along the Doce River Basin
The Renova Foundation, in partnership with the National Service of Industrial Education (Senai) and the Qualifica platform, offers free online professional training courses for young people and adults from the Doce River Basin region in Minas Gerais and Espirito Santo. The initiative is part of the socioeconomic programs responsible for carrying out a series of actions to promote the resumption of productive activities along the Doce River Basin. To participate, those interested must be at least 16 years old and already be registered in the Renova Foundation’s database. See below how to apply:
One of the highlights of the platform is the diversity of training available, ranging from preparatory courses for a first job and entering the job market to more specialized training, such as digital marketing, negotiation strategies, customer service, work with Excel, in addition to teaching languages such as English and Spanish.
Those interested can participate in as many training courses as they want, and can choose from a total of 75 courses in ten areas: Administration, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Introduction to Digital Tools, Languages, Leadership, First Job, Preparatory Training, Specialist in Sales and Healthy Living.

As soon as the application is approved, Qualifica will send the student a link to access the platform. To attend classes, participants need a computer with internet access or download the Qualifica application on their cell phone, available on the App Store for iPhone, and the Play Store, for Android.
But beware, registrants need to be aware of the deadline for completing the courses, which is up to three months from enrollment. Besides, class attendance must be consistent, or the candidate’s platform access may be revoked.
There are 13 courses available, with an average duration of 14 hours in the areas of Conscious Energy Consumption; Environmental Education; Entrepreneurship; Logistics Fundamentals; Programming Logic; Information and Communication Technology; Metrology; Basic Notions of Automotive Mechanics; Workplace Safety; Understanding Industry 4.0; Understanding the Blockchain; Understanding BIM – Building Information Modeling; Lean Manufacturing.
Age: at least 16 years old
To register, you must complete an electronic form. To access it, simply click here. After registration, Senai will send the link to access the content within 10 days. At the end of the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion. You need a computer, tablet, or cell phone with internet access and Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer browser with Adobe Flash Player installed to attend classes. Each young student can enroll in up to two courses.
