The quality of the water continues to be the focus of the Renova Foundation, with actions in the entire affected territory and a budget of R$ 344 million for the Doce River Basin recovery actions, which includes the monitoring of 650 km of rivers and lagoons and 230 km of estuary; alternative water withdrawal services and improvements in WTPs to supply communities; sewage treatment works; recovery of water sources; and tailings management.
