The independent panel of experts led by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) issues new recommendations on fishing restrictions (in force for three years) in the Doce River. The recommendations are highlighted in the study “Fishing ban after the Fundao Dam Collapse: a precautionary principle to restore fish populations in the Doce River Basin”.
