Over 1900 objects, including images of saints and sacred pieces of churches, are accommodated at the location
Downtown Mariana (MG), the Renova Foundation created a space called Technical Reserve that homes the assets of historical value of the community, recovered by the field-based team. Since February 2016, restoration experts working on site are responsible for identifying, cataloging, restoring and storing the recovered items.
At this time, over 1900 objects, including images of saints and sacred pieces of churches, altar pieces, frames, windows, pieces of wood and other structures are accommodated in the Technical Reserve.
The future of the items will be defined by a Technical Reference Group, formed by the Renova Foundation, the Archdiocese of Mariana, the Prosecution Service of Minas Gerais, the National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage (Iphan), the State Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage of Minas Gerais (Iepha), Municipal Heritage Councils, the Municipal Department of Culture, Civil Defense, community members and the technical advisory body of Caritas.22
