Water Management: Learn about Renova’s actions to improve water quality of the Doce River basin

After the Fundão dam collapse, a large monitoring system was implemented at the Doce River basin, with 92 monitored points and 22 automatic stations. With this operation, the river has become the most monitored watercourse in the country. Today, the Doce River water presents quality for human consumption, after treatment by the responsible entities. Now the challenge is to leave the Doce River basin under exemplary conditions, through monitoring, environmental restoration and improvements in the treatment of water and sewage.
