Development of Productive Groups
• The lecture “Entrepreneurship through creative economy and associated production” was held for representatives of the participating productive groups, regarding the Awareness Stage of Goal 2 of the Productive Groups Development project, in partnership with the General Culture Association.
• A meeting was held with the “Mothers from Colina Association”, in Mariana, to diagnose and solve the group's problems. The meeting refers to the In-Depth Immersion stage of Goal 1 of the Productive Groups Development project, in partnership with the General Culture Association.

• The updated version of the PG019 definition document was filed in response to Resolution No. 342.
Development of Entrepreneurial Culture
• Awarded training certificates to participants from the communities of Bento Rodrigues/MG and Paracatu de Baixo/MG.
• Stage 3 presentation of the Development of Entrepreneurial Culture Consultancy Project, in partnership with the Criare Rio Institute, for the communities of Bento Rodrigues/MG and Paracatu de Baixo/MG.
Development of Productive Groups
• Product Pricing workshops were held with production groups from Mariana/MG and Barra Longa/MG, referring to the stage Goal Awareness 2 of the Productive Groups Development Project, in partnership with the General Culture Association.

Socioeconomic Study of New Areas
Execution of 100% of technical assistance services and management training for entrepreneurs from the “New Areas”, scheduled for 2019, has not been completed. Cause: A study that will support the work of the program in the new areas was completed in December 2019. Countermeasure: Evaluate the study for possible re-planning the actions.
SEBRAE/MG Project
Consultancy services for affected businesses, involving the elaboration and implementation of action plans, preparation of technical feasibility studies and realization of situational mapping using financial reports.

Resumption of operation of sand harvesters throughout all territories scheduled for 2019 did not take place. Cause: Not performed due to the large number of sand harvesters and trash scavengers that are outside the PG019 scope. Countermeasure: Plan actions in another program or project in the field of Economy and Innovation for Sand Harvesters and Trash Scavenger that are outside the scope of the program.
Productive Groups Development Project
Meetings with the Gesteira Cooperative and the Barra Girls (Meninas da Barra) groups, in Barra Longa, to monitor their sales, difficulties encountered, planning the formalization of the business, creating a product catalog, among other activities.
The development of at least 5 productive groups, scheduled for 2019, has not been completed. Cause: Delay in the addendum process of the project’s contract. Countermeasure: Re-plan the actions from the start date of the contract.
New Business Incubation Project
Elaboration of a business model, financial plan, action plan and technical project for incubation and development of the Soccer School project associated with Clube Barralonguense in Barra Longa - MG.
19 meetings to present the project carried out by IEBT, raise awareness and understand business.
Project for the development of businesses with social impact, scheduled for 2019, has not been completed. Cause: Change in the understanding of the project's needs - business development is no longer restricted to social impact. Countermeasure: Increase the number of segments to be served.

Strategic Axis of New Business:
• The following meetings were held: “Understanding Your Entrepreneurship”, “Talking about Money” and “Planning Your Entrepreneurship” in Paracatu de Baixo and Bento Rodrigues. They are part of the 2nd stage of the Advisory Project for the Development of Entrepreneurial Culture, in partnership with the Criare Rio Institute. This delivery refers to the milestone “Completion of the 'Entrepreneurial Training' Stage, held by the Criare Rio Institute in the Consulting for the Development of Entrepreneurial Culture”.
• The meetings “Business Model” and “Uniting Forces” of the 2nd stage of the Advisory Project for the Development of Entrepreneurial Culture, in partnership with the Criare Rio Institute, were not held. Cause: Wrong completion dates on schedule. Countermeasure: Update the schedule with the new dates.

Strategic Axis of Business in Operation:
• Delivery of machinery and equipment to Mr. Clerio Vieira’s block factory in Santana do Deserto - Rio Doce. This delivery refers to the milestone “Completion of services for replacement of inputs and equipment for business in operation”.
Strategic Axis of New Business:
• The following meetings were held: “Welcome”, “Protagonism”, “Self-Awareness”, “Life and Career Planning” and “Entrepreneurial Attitude”, of the 2nd stage of the Advisory Project for the Development of Entrepreneurial Culture, in partnership with the Criare Rio Institute. This delivery refers to the milestone “Completion of the 'Entrepreneurial Training' Stage, held by the Criare Rio Institute in the Consulting for the Development of Entrepreneurial Culture”.
Only the “Welcome”, “Protagonism” and “Self-Awareness” meetings appear in the measurement report given as evidence of the above delivery. The other meetings mentioned occurred after the measurement report was prepared. Therefore, evidence of realization will only be sent in the next measurement period. • The milestones for the SEBRAE-ES Technical Advisory Services package, which were foreseen and were previously reported on the timeline, were withdrawn in October. The contract with SEBRAE-ES was finalized and some of the planned activities will not be performed by the supplier. Such activities will also be removed from the Program schedule. Micro and Small Business Recovery - Sand Harvesters and Trash Scavengers.
• The milestones for the Sand Harvesters and Trash Scavenger package that were planned and previously reported on the timeline were removed in October, considering that the large number of “Sand Harvesters and Trash Scavenger” is out of scope of PG19. For this audience that is out of scope, actions will be planned within another program in the Economy and Innovation field, and the rest will be included in the actions in progress.

Strategic axis of new business:
• Awareness meetings were held with the communities of Bento Rodrigues and Paracatu de Baixo (MG) for the second phase of the Advisory Project for the Development of Entrepreneurial Culture, in partnership with the Criare Rio Institute, with the objective of inviting them to participate in the training and entrepreneurship meetings.

Strategic Axis of Restructuring Businesses:
• Participation of affected entrepreneurs from Mariana and Barra Longa in fairs and events organized by the Renova Foundation and its partners in the state of Minas Gerais to exhibit and commercialize their products, generating revenue for those affected of around R$ 12,000.
• Participation of the Bento Rodrigues Produce Association (AHOBERO) in the Retailers Super Meeting - SEVAR 2019, in Juiz de Fora (MG).
• Participation of the Bento Rodrigues Produce Association (AHOBERO) and the Gesteira Cooperative in the Ouro Preto Tourism Festival (MG).
Strategic Axis of Business in Operation:
• Delivery of 240 bags of cement, a concrete mixer, a compressor, 50 m³ of sand and 50 m³ of crushed stone for the resumption of operation of the concrete block factory of Mr. Clerio Vieira, in Santana do Deserto, Rio Doce (MG).
• Substitution of meat grinder equipment for Mr. Joubert Macario de Castro's minimarket / grocery store, in Gesteira, Barra Longa (MG).
Strategic Axis of New Business:
• Technical advisory services started for the development of 14 productive groups in partnership with the Geraes Culture Association (ACG) in Mariana, Barra Longa, Rio Doce and Santa Cruz do Escalvado in Minas Gerais.

Strategic Axis of Restructuring Businesses:
• Scope of the IEBT project - Incubation of Socially and Technologically Based Ventures - for technical advice from entrepreneurs was expanded to serve all types of businesses and 20 additional entrepreneurs were selected to participate in the program.

Strategic Axis of Restructuring Business:
• Initiation of the second phase of technical advice by SEBRAE-MG to the businesses impacted in the territories of Mariana, Barra Longa, Santa Cruz and Rio Doce, focusing on family and collective resettlement communities, to prepare projects for the resumption of activities after the inauguration of the new villages. In some cases, the work covers technical advice for immediate implementation.

Strategic Axis of Restructuring Business:
• Technical visits in Maranhao and Piaui for tourism benchmarking with the participation of members of the Regencia and Povoacao communities, municipal and state public managers and representatives of the council and the Renova Foundation.
Strategic Axis of New Business:
• An opportunity-themed meeting was held with the community of Paracatu de Baixo to present the program's proposal for the recovery and resumption of impacted micro and small businesses.
• Initiation of execution of the Renewing Futures Project, in partnership with the Criare Institute, whose objective is to enhance the entrepreneurial capacity of the collective resettlement communities: Bento Rodrigues, Paracatu de Baixo and Gesteira, aimed at a sustainable development of these territories.

• Technical benchmarking visits:
Doces do Grama Association, in Santo Antonio do Grama (MG), by the Association of Horticulturalists of Bento Rodrigues (AHOBERO);
Federal University of Vicosa (UFV), in Vicosa (MG), by those affected of the Rural Cooperative of Gesteira and Association of Horticulturalists of Bento Rodrigues (AHOBERO).
• Provided technical consultancy services to 65 ventures in partnership with SEBRAE-MG, of which 51 in Barra Longa, 4 in Santa Cruz do Escalvado, 7 in Mariana and 3 in Rio Doce.
• Initiation of the Renovando Futuros (Renewing Futures) project, in partnership with the Criare Institute. Its objective is to enhance the entrepreneurial capacity of the communities of the collective resettlement of Bento Rodrigues, Paracatu de Baixo and Gesteira, aiming at the sustainable development of these territories.
• Finalization of the individual consultancies "Diagnosis of a SEBRAE Shop" in Regencia and Povoacao (ES) for the renovation and improvement of public spaces and tourist attractions.
• Initiation of consultancies for groups of artisans from Regencia and Povoacao (ES) aimed at the creation of a collection of pieces.

Lectures and workshops were held to strengthen the gastronomy and handicraft of the river mouth region - Strategic Axis of Restructuring Businesses.
A consultancy was hired to develop an entrepreneurial mindset in the population of Bento Rodrigues that will be resettled - Strategic Axis of New Business.

Initiation of technical advisory activities for the recovery of micro and small businesses in Regencia e Povoacao (ES).

The Technical Advisory Body started its work for the recovery of micro and small businesses in Mariana.

On June 11, a new supplier was contracted by the Renova Foundation to deliver the shackles, which were delivered on the 20th of the same month. The renovation activities at the Shackle Factory’s are expected to be completed in July.

Negotiations began on the recovery of micro and small businesses in the municipalities of Barra Longa, Rio Doce and Santa Cruz do Escalvado, after Sebrae MG was contracted. After defining strategies for this work, the Renova Foundation authorized the initiation of activities, on May 22.

The first action was an individual conversation with each microentrepreneur that was directly affected by the collapse of the Dam. These were led by Sebrae teams and the Renova Foundation’s Micro and Small Business Recovery and Social Dialogue Program. The goal of the meeting was to present the project and encourage entrepreneurs to participate. After this first contact, should the microentrepreneur accept the consulting proposal, a business recovery plan will be set in motion.

The Embroiderers of Barra Longa (MG) participated in the 45th Sao Paulo Fashion Week through creations by Ronaldo Fraga. The designer visited the craftswomen of this community and invited them to portray the gardens of the place. The members of the cooperative Meninas de Barra Longa created applications that resembled plants and flowers and they portrayed some families who used to live in the community. The General Cultural Association (ACG) and the Renova Foundation organized this alliance between Ronaldo Fraga and the embroiderers.

The Renova Foundation also signed another partnership with ACG to support the cooperatives in Barra Longa throughout 2018.

In January, the program’s team set up a task force to expedite processing and review rejections of previous support requests to address the old demands by impacted entrepreneurs. A total of 56 cases were reopened or indicated by the Territorial Dialogue team, of which 22 had to do with micro and small businesses that were affected, related to cases such as advance indemnity payments, reimbursement of invoices/expenses in addition to emergency aid and reimbursement of tools and materials.

The program’s team is studying possibilities to continue the actions carried out by the General Culture Association (ACG) within the Empoderar project, which aims to provide the town of Mariana (MG) and the Mariana Passagem district with new perspectives for development and job creation and income, through Tourism, an industry that had significant weight in the local economy before the Fundao dam collapse.

A meeting with Sebrae-MG discussed the final aspects of the work proposal for the Micro and Small Business Recovery program, with the objective of contributing to the reestablishment of businesses in the Doce River region, generating employment and income for families impacted by the Fundao dam collapse. The team of this program, together with the Registration team, held the first meeting of the working group that aims to structure micro and small entrepreneurs and design possible strategies of service, considering the assessment results collected by the first Integrated Registration campaign.

In the meeting, it was agreed to create two working groups with representatives of Sebrae and the Renova Foundation.

New financial aid cards were sent to rural producers in Barra Longa, Santa Cruz do Escalvado and Mariana (MG), based on requests raised by the Social Dialogue program.

This month, the emergency action assistance for Barra Longa/Candonga (MG) and Mariana/Paracatu (MG) has been ended. The reconstruction process has begun - the first phase of the project includes the documentation of the shackle factory and the inventory of the operational status of the micro and small businesses. Both actions have been completed and took place in Barra Longa (MG), after the emergency recovery. Moreover, as part of the work for promoting small businesses and together with the tourism program, the Summer Project of Regência and Povoação (ES) was supported.

This month the emergency actions, part of the planning made for Barra Longa/Candonga and Mariana/Paracatu, were continued. The first check payments were processed for the Association of Fishermen in Regência (ES), as well as the check payments for the sand fishermen. As part of the actions for promoting small businesses, the New Year's Eve event of Regência and Povoação in Espírito Santo was sponsored, together with the tourism program. In Barra Longa (MG), the service and support for local business and their owners was transferred to the service centers.

In the month of September, a study was done regarding the merchants indirectly impacted in Barra Longa, as well as the continuation of the execution of the planned actions in Barra Longa/ Candonga and the financial aid process for Regência.
