Objective of the program

To implement a technical information center, two physical regional bases in Minas Gerais and two in the State of Espírito Santo, which are permanently connected to the technical information center that is located within the environmental area 1 (compromised by the deposit of tailings in the channels and riverbanks of the Gualaxo do Norte, Carmo and Doce rivers, considering the respective passages of their formation streams and tributaries, as well as estuarine, coastal and marine regions in the parts impacted by the collapse), with the objective of communicating and informing the population in regards to environmental aspects.

Technical Information Center (TIC) in Mariana - MG:
In December 2019, the 32nd Meeting of the Technical Board for Participation, Dialogue and Social Control (TB-PDSC) was held in which points were discussed to improve the document defining Program 35, for later approval of the program by this Technical Board.
Unrealized deliveries related to the Mariana, Governador Valadares and Regencia Technical Information Centers
The Governador Valadares and Regencia Technical Information Centers were not implemented in 2019. Cause: The scope of the program is being readjusted and approved by the Technical Board for Participation, Dialogue and Social Control (TB-PDSC), analyzing the content that will be implemented in the Technical Information Centers. Countermeasure: Submission of the Program Definition Proposal for approval by TB-PDSC.
The existing structures of interactive and technical equipment that distribute the information content of the facts and actions developed by the Renova Foundation in different scenarios and with different approaches, forms and technology have not been expanded. Cause: Issuance by the Technical Board for Participation, Dialogue and Social Control (TB-PDSC) of technical notes 15 and 16, which involve the readjustment of the Mariana Technical Information Center and the redefinition of the content in general. Countermeasures: 1- Submission of the final conceptual design of the technical information centers for approval by the Technical Board for Participation, Dialogue and Social Control (TB-PDSC); 2- Improvements were implemented to welcome visitors and expand interactivity in the space, but there are still actions to be taken to increase and expand the structures.
The new phase of readjustments at the Mariana Technical Information Center will fully comply with technical notes No.15 and No.16, issued by TB-PDSC. It will be executed after the approval of the Conceptual Project by TB-PDSC, in order to avoid executions not adhering to the approved scope of the program.

• Preparation of the unilateral draft of the Municipal Office to initiate negotiations for formalizing a partnership agreement for the construction of a TIC in Governador Valadares.

• Elaboration of the draft for the negotiations to formalize a partnership agreement for the construction of a TIC on the ICMBio site.

• Visit of 460 people from various places, including ComeSee participants.
• Handicrafts exhibition of the group associations from the affected regions, as agreed in a participatory workshop on 07/24/2018.
• In August, public informative sessions were held on collective resettlement, on Tuesdays, and on family resettlement on Thursdays.
• Hearing among families, representatives of the Renova Foundation and Technical Advisory Body, related to the Bento Rodrigues resettlement.

Technical Information Center (TIC) in Governador Valadares (MG):
• Elaboration of the unilateral draft agreement by the Municipal Office to start the negotiations with the TIC Governador Valadares.

Technical Information Center (TIC) in Regencia (ES):
• Elaboration of draft to start negotiations with ICMBio.
• Compilation of the report of the first workshop held in the Regencia district with the participation of the Doce River Mouth community, Linhares municipality (ES), to start the project for the design of the TIC in Regencia (definition with the Technical Board of Participation, Dialogue and Social Control, CT-PDCS, and with representatives of ICMBio).

Technical Information Center (TIC) in Mariana (MG) - Casa do Jardim
• It received 680 visitors from many different districts, including ComeSee participants.
• Handicrafts exhibition of the group associations from the affected regions, as agreed in a participatory workshop.
• In August, public informative sessions were held on collective resettlement, on Tuesdays, and on family resettlement on Thursdays.
• The exhibition of handicraft products by associations of affected groups in Mariana continues, consolidating the venue as an important point for promoting and selling the associations' work.
Technical Information Center (TIC) in Governador Valadares (MG)
• Verified the registration of the property with the Municipal Office, stating that there are no liens or encumbrance, preparing to sign the donation agreement between Municipal Office of Governador Valadares and Renova Foundation.
Technical Information Center (TIC) in Regencia (ES):
• A workshop was held in the Regencia district with the participation of the Doce River Mouth community, Linhares municipality, to start the Design Project of the TIC in Regencia - definition with the Technical Board of Participation, Dialogue and Social Control (CT-PDCS) and with representatives of ICMBio. Also participating were CT-PDCS board members, ICMBio managers and representatives of local public authorities.

Technical Information Center (TIC) in Mariana (MG) - Casa do Jardim
• 1084 visitors from many different towns.
• Participatory workshop to provide opportunities to those interested to get involved in the project. Besides the construction of the idea of belonging and designation of the space.
• 162 visitors participated in the Customer Feedback Device survey, which aims to learn more about the interests of the visiting public, for identifying which topics should receive more attention in the center.
Technical Information Center (TIC) in Governador Valadares (MG)
• Verification with the Municipal Office on the availability of public land for the construction of the TIC, formalized through OFI.NII.062019.6834. This municipality presented to the Renova Foundation the option of making available a piece of land for building the Center. During a visit to the site, Renova's team verified that the space is suitable for a TIC. Based on this new possibility, negotiations continue with the Municipal Office for the legal donation of the land.

Technical Information Center (TIC) in Mariana (MG) - Casa do Jardim
• 111 visitors from many different towns. It should be noted that the low number of visitors this month is due to the fact that the space remained closed during the demonstration in Mariana.
• Participatory workshop to provide opportunities to those interested to get involved in the project. Besides the construction of the idea of belonging and designation of the space.
• Exhibition of handicrafts: the Mariana Arts and Workshops group (FAM) and the group of Padre Viegas continue to use the space in the Casa do Jardim to expose their works to the visiting public.
• 31 visitors participated in the Customer Feedback Device survey, which aims to learn more about the interests of the public and identify which theme should receive more attention in the center. • Consultation with the city government about the availability of public land for building a TIC. The reference number of the consultation is OFI.NII.062019.6834. At the same time, other buildings and land are being prospected for possible acquisition.

• Formal referral to ICMBio, through OFI.NII.062019.6946, of the Cooperation Agreement with the Renova Foundation for review and final approval of the document. The objective is a cooperation to carry out actions aimed at the implementation of the Technical Information Center (TIC) in Regencia (Linhares/ES).

Technical Information Center (TIC) in Mariana (MG) - Casa do Jardim
• 517 visitors from many different towns.
• Realization of the Casa Preta Project | The Future of the Doce River That’s Us, with workshops, such as "That shine is mine", which aims to praise black beauties and black entrepreneurship.
• Informative sessions on the resettlement are on the program at the Casa do Jardim with dates throughout the month; Tuesdays are dedicated to collective resettlement and Thursdays to rural resettlement. It aims to answer any questions the families might have about this process.
• Exhibition of handicrafts: the Mariana Arts and Workshops group (FAM) and the group of Padre Viegas continue to fill the space in the Casa do Jardim to expose their works to the visiting public.
• Thematic activity for the elderly from Bento Rodrigues and Paracatu de Baixo and their relatives: during the activity, the most important past celebrations and events of Bento Rodrigues and Paracatu de Baixo were recalled by the residents. The goal was to organize an afternoon to share and appreciate community stories.
• On 05/23, the Customer Feedback Device was placed in the space in order to learn more about the interests of the visiting public to identify which theme should be receive more attention in the center.
Technical Information Center (TIC) in Governador Valadares (MG)
• A working meeting was held on 05/21 in Vitoria (ES), which had the purpose of discussing the contents that should be available at the TICs (item 5 of Deliberation 229), as well as the results and referrals related to the definition and objectives of the Program, as presented by the Technical Board of Participation, Dialogue and Social Control (CTPDCS), through Technical Note no. 15/2019/CT-PDCS/CIF, dated March 2019. We are awaiting the presentation by the Technical Board CTPDCS of the results of the work for the continuity of the implementation of the TIC of GV.
Technical Information Center (TIC) in Regencia (ES)
• Negotiations continue with the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conversation (ICMBio) to sign the Cooperation Agreement with the Renova Foundation. The objective is a mutual cooperation to carry out actions aimed at the implementation of the Technical Information Center (TIC) in Regencia, Linhares (ES).
• A working meeting was held on 05/21 in Vitoria (ES), which had the purpose of discussing the contents that should be available on the TICs (item 5 of Resolution 229), as well as the results and referrals related to the definition and objectives of the Program, as presented by the Technical Board of Participation, Dialogue and Social Control (CTPDCS), through Technical Note no. 15/2019/CT-PDCS/CIF, dated March 2019. Likewise, we are awaiting the presentation, by the CTPDCS, of the results of the work for the continuity of the implementation of this TIC.

Technical Information Center (TIC) in Mariana (MG) - Casa do Jardim
• The participatory workshops take place in the TIC in order to involve those interested in the project aimed at the use and occupation of the Casa do Jardim, and which seek to establish a sense of belonging and designation of the space. In April, the Renova Foundation developed three workshops, seeking to discuss the Cambia Event and the Expominas Fair.
• Among the several actions carried out in the TIC, we highlight:
316 visitors from many different towns;
visits by two schools of the municipality of Mariana (State School Luciano Pedro Mendes de Almeida and the Gomes Freire School).

• For the resumption of the implementation of the TIC in GV, we are awaiting a Working Meeting, scheduled for May, in order to discuss the contents that should be included in the TICs (item 5, Resolution 229), as well as results and referrals related to the definition and objectives of the Program, as presented by the Technical Board for Participation, Dialogue and Social Control (CTPDCS), through Technical Note no. 15/2019/CT-PDCS/CIF, dated March 2019.

Participatory workshops were held to provide those interested the possibility to get involved in the project.
Construction of the idea of belonging and designation of the space.
A workshop was held on the 26th.
For the actions carried out at the TIC Mariana (MG), we highlight:
- 178 visitors from many different districts.
- Visits from three schools, two from Mariana and one from Belo Horizonte.
- Launch of the book “Joao de Barro and the Sea of Mud", by author Grazi Reis.
- The future of the Doce River is us - a project of the Instituto Elos. It advises the youth that takes part in the project, and who are realizing their dreams by transforming the territory.
- Composting workshop - in this activity, there was a reflection on how our waste is discarded and how each of us is responsible for our waste and mother nature.
Technical Information Center (TIC) in Governador Valadares (MG)
Based on the CIF resolution of November 2018, considering that the TICs should preferably be implemented in public spaces, except when proved impossible, and after consultation with the municipal government of Governador Valadares (MG), on 02/13/19, the municipality sent the letter OF/GAB/SMA 032/2019 to the Renova Foundation, informing there is no public space available for installation of the TIC.
In view of the aforementioned unavailability, the Renova Foundation sent the Interfederative Committee (CIF) and the Technical Board of Communication, Participation, Dialogue and Social Control (CT-CPDCS), the letter OFI.NII.012019.5137 informing about the reply by Municipal Office regarding Resolution 229, item 2, and reiterating that the TIC will be implemented in the current space, located at Rua Afonso Pena nº 268, Downtown, Governador Valadares (MG).
Based on this definition, the negotiations for the implementation of the Center will be resumed.
Technical Information Center (TIC) in Regencia (ES)
Awaiting the response of the team of the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conversation (ICMBio) regarding the final review and signature of the Cooperation Agreement between ICMBio and the Renova Foundation, aiming at a mutual cooperation to carry out actions for the implementation of a Technical Information Center (TIC) in Regencia (Linhares, ES).
A meeting was held on March 12 with ICMBio and CT-CPDCS to define the space to be shared at the Tamar Project for the implementation of the TIC of Regencia, in Linhares (ES).

Technical Information Center (TIC) in Mariana (MG) - Casa do Jardim
Several participatory workshops were held with the purpose of providing the possibility to those interested to get involved in the project; construction of the idea of belonging and designation of the space. In February, the Renova Foundation developed two workshops, on 02/05 and 02/19.
Among the several actions carried out in the TIC, we highlight:
201 visitors from many different towns;
use of center for rehearsal by the coral of the Paracatu community;
meeting with Instituto Elos to talk about the creation of "The Future of the Doce River That’s Us";
meeting with the social project team “Soccer Club America" and municipal government of Mariana;
meeting with artisanal miners of Barra Longa and staff of the Renova Foundation.

Technical Information Center (TIC) in Regencia (ES)
Revision of the Work Plan, an integral part of the Cooperation Agreement between the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conversation (ICMBio) and the Renova Foundation, aiming at mutual cooperation for achieving actions to implement the Technical Information Center (TIC) in Regencia, in the Linhares (ES) region. Negotiations and meetings to reach the Cooperation Agreement are to follow. This Work Plan is in its final phase of review by the parties.

Several participatory workshops with the purpose of providing the possibility of involvement by the interested parties in the project; construction of the idea of belonging and designation of the space.
In January, the Renova Foundation developed two workshops, on 01/08 and 01/22, with the following agenda: (i) evaluation of the “Jardim em Serenata” event and joint preparation of the communication plan for events of the TIC; (ii) presentation of communication items for suggestions and validation by the group; and initiation programming of the pre-carnival event, respectively.
Other actions carried out in the TIC during this period, namely:
The Renova Foundation's ComeSee project (itinerary of experiences that allow the visitor to understand, from up close, how the tragedy occurred and the damage it caused to the affected territories);
Embroidery training by “Art, Hands and Flowers Craftspeople” - income generation and workshop group;
It continues to be a place where affected communities are heard by the Resettlement team;
Meeting with the affected families of Paracatu de Baixo and providing them with assistance - related to collective resettlement;
Meeting with Bento Rodrigues Produce Association/Pout Pepper Jelly;
Enrollment for Summer Connection. During summer break, children of Bento Rodrigues and Paracatu de Baixo were engaged in interactive and recreational activities with the purpose of occupying this free period in an educational way;
Workshops for daily routine and assessment of cultural references;
Meeting of the Cookie Manufacturing Project - integration of rural areas and affected communities;
Meeting with representative of the commission of affected parties of Bento Rodrigues;
Meeting with Prosecution Service and affected households.

The number of people visiting the TIC in Mariana (Casa do Jardim) during the month of January was 814.
Technical Information Center (TIC) in Governador Valadares
Based on the deliberation of the Interfederative Committee (CIF) of November 2018, considering that the TICs should be implemented preferably in public spaces, except when proved impossible, on January 11, a meeting was held with the Municipal Office of Governador Valadares to consult the body on the interest and availability of use of a public space for the implementation of the TIC. Awaiting a reply from the Municipality to continue the actions.
Technical Information Center (TIC) in Regencia
Elaboration of the Work Plan that is an integral part of the Cooperation Agreement between the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conversation (ICMBio) and the Renova Foundation, aiming at mutual cooperation to carry out actions for the implementation of a Technical Information Center (TIC) in Regencia (Linhares, in Espirito Santo).
With regard to the Cooperation Agreement, it is in the final stage of review by the parties.
Indicators
Filed with the Technical Board of Communication, Participation, Dialogue and Social Control (CT-CPDCS) are the adjustments made to the layout and to the questions that will be available on the Customer Feedback Terminals in the Technical Information Center (TIC) of Mariana (Casa do Jardim), to evaluate the results of the Program.
Awaiting the validation by CT-CPDCS of the adjustments to the indicators presented for implementation.

On December 5, a meeting was held with the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conversation (ICMBio) for the continuity of actions and negotiations for the legal proceedings between Renova and the Institute to conclude an appropriate legal instrument to legitimize the use of the area of the Tamar/ICMBio Project in Regencia (ES) - to install the TIC.

The Cooperation Agreement between the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation - ICMBio and the Renova Foundation, is still under preparation, aiming at a mutual cooperation to carry out actions for the implementation of the

Technical Information Center (TIC) in Governador Valadares:

After finalizing the Conceptual and Executive Project for the TIC in Governador Valadares processes are underway for contracting companies to install the center.

In a meeting on December 5, the Conceptual Project and the Pedagogical Proposal of the TIC were presented to the Technical Board of Communication, Participation and Social Control (CTCDPCS).

Technical Information Center (TIC) in Mariana: The participatory workshops continued to provide interested parties the opportunity to get involved in the project; to create a sense of ​​belonging and good designation of the space and to continue the actions during the period of operation of the Technical Information Centers (TICs).

On 12/01/2018, a multicultural event was held - called Garden in Seresta.

Other actions were carried out in the TIC during this period, namely:

- The TIC continues to be the host center of the ComeSee Project of the Renova Foundation (itinerary of experiences that allows the visitor to understand, from up close, how the tragedy occurred and the impacts it caused to the affected territories);
- The training of embroideries by the Art, Hands and Flowers Craftspeople - Income Generation and Workshop Group -, also continued;
- It continues to be the place where affected communities are heard by the Resettlement team;
- Center for activities such as: 2nd Entrepreneurship workshop - (Economy and Innovation Program).

Likewise for the TIC in Mariana, the Conceptual Project and the Pedagogical Proposal were presented to the Technical Board of Communication, Participation and Social Control (CTCDPCS) during a meeting held on December 5th.

Visitors TIC: The number of people that visited the TIC in Mariana (Casa do Jardim) during the month of December was 287. Below you can verify details about the place of residence of the visitors:

Training: In the month of December, in order to continue the training and qualifications for the TIC team of Mariana, two trainings were held: Workshop “making the best of our emotional experiences” and GIS Portal.

Technical Information Center (TIC) in Regencia
On 11/21, a meeting was held with the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conversation (ICMBio) for the continuity of actions and negotiations for the legal proceedings between Renova and the institute to establish an appropriate legal instrument to legitimize the use of the location, the Tamar Project/ICMBio in Regencia (ES), for installation of the TIC.
The cooperation agreement between ICMBio and the Renova Foundation is still under preparation, aiming at a mutual cooperation to carry out actions for the implementation of a Technical Information Center (TIC) in Regencia (ES), with extension of its activities in the town of Povoacao, district of Linhares (ES).
Technical Information Center (TIC) in Governador Valadares
After finalizing the conceptual and executive project for the TIC in Governador Valadares, processes are underway for contracting companies to implement the center.
In November, a campaign was held in some schools in the region to choose the name for this TIC. The TIC was presented to the students in a playful way, through a theatrical play.
As a result of the campaign, the name that was selected for the TIC, from the five suggestions, was Doce Reborn.

The participatory workshops continue to be held to provide interested parties the opportunity to get involved in the project; to create a sense of ​​belonging and good designation of the space, and to continue the actions during the period of operation of the Technical Information Centers (TICs).
In November, more workshops were held, focusing on the construction of the multicultural event called “Jardim em Serenata”. The group came together and thought of three fronts of action for the event: parade/musical presentations; market with ten stands; movement (including performances and/or physical activities).
Other actions were carried out in the TIC during this period, namely:
The TIC became the place to host the ComeSee Project of the Renova Foundation (itinerary of experiences that allows the visitor to understand, from up close, how the tragedy occurred and the impacts it caused to the affected territories);
This month, the center also offered activities such as: Community Movie Night "Stories of Paracatu";
Workshops for embroideries by “Art, Hands and Flowers Craftspeople” - income generation and workshops group - continued.
The TIC received visits from schools from Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Mariana;
It continues to be a place where affected communities are heard by the resettlement team;
Center for activities such as Innovation HUB Project (Economy and Innovation Program).

The number of people visiting the TIC in Mariana (Casa do Jardim) during the month of November was 431.
Training
Three training sessions were held in November to continue the training and qualification of the TIC team in Mariana.

Technical Information Center (TIC) in Regencia
In October, ICMBio formalized via e-mail the continuity of actions and negotiations for the legal proceedings between Renova and the Institute to conclude an appropriate legal instrument to legitimize the use of the Tamar Project area in Regencia (ES) for installation of the TIC. To this end, meetings will be held to prepare a Work Plan and Cooperation Agreement between Renova and ICMBio.
Technical Information Center (TIC) in Governador Valadares
Completed the detailed conceptual and executive project for the TIC Governador Valadares by the team formed by UFMG and engineering of the Renova Foundation. The project was shared with representatives of the participatory workshops held in GV for the construction of the TIC. Now, we continue the processes for hiring companies to be installed in this center.
A campaign was scheduled in some schools in the region to choose the name for the TIC. It will be presented to the students in a playful way through a theatrical play. The link to vote for the name was forwarded to those involved in the project.

Continuity of participatory workshops providing interested parties the opportunity to get involved in the project; construction of the idea of ​​belonging and good designation of space, and for the continuity of actions throughout the period of operation of the Technical Information Centers (TICs).
In October, the 7th, 8th and 9th workshops were held at Casa do Jardim, in Mariana (MG). These workshops focused on the construction of the multicultural event called “Garden in Seresta”. TIC Visitors
Number of people visiting the TIC in Mariana (Casa do Jardim) this month was 369.
Other activities that took place at the TIC, based on the results of the Participatory Workshops, were:
Completion of a Brazilian Sign Language Course for teachers of the municipal network of Mariana.
The TIC became the place to welcome the participants of the ComeSee Project of the Renova Foundation (itinerary of experiences that allows the visitor to understand, from up close, how the tragedy occurred and the impacts it caused to the affected territories).
In October, the space received the cooperative of Gesteira to expose the products produced by its members.

Center for Technical Information in Regencia: After the visit to the Tamar Project, on 08/09/18 in Regencia (ES) - location quoted for the installation of the Technical Information Center (TIC) - negotiations continue on the legal procedures between Renova and ICMBio to conclude an appropriate legal instrument to legitimize the use of the area.

Technical Information Center in Governador Valadares: Initiated the planning to carry out the campaign in some schools of the region to choose the name of this TIC. The five names (Doce Reborn; Doce River Center; Doce River; Around the River, River Corner) listed in the 3rd Participatory Workshops, held on July 31, 2018, will be considered in the voting; Presented on 09/26/2018, by the architecture team, the details of the design for the façade of the TIC. As for the details of the Conceptual and Executive Project for the TIC Governador Valadares, the same will be presented in October.

Technical Information Center in Mariana: The participatory workshops continue to be held to provide interested parties the opportunity to get involved in the project; to create a sense of ​​belonging and good designation of the space, and to continue the actions during the time of operation of the Technical Information Centers (TICs).

In this sense, on September 18, the 6th workshop was held at Casa do Jardim in Mariana (MG), in order to build the Participative Definition of the Occupation Plan, Pedagogical Proposal and Shared Management of Operation.

In this workshop the participants developed the action plan of the themes:
- Multicultural
- Income Generation/Workshops

As a result of these plans - on September 28, the 1st training of embroideries started for the Art, Hands and Flowers Craftspeople - group of Income Generation and Workshops. Another workshop will be the creation of Ze Pereira dolls - the start date is still to be defined.

Whereas Multicultural Events chose to curate a multicultural event that includes a fair, cultural presentations and other activities. Participants were responsible for coming up with names/groups that would be interested in participating in this action and bring to the next meeting, scheduled for October 2. The month of November was raised as possible date for the event.

As for the key points of the Program, this month we started the planning to include online research, for each scenario of the TIC of Mariana - Casa do Jardim.

The visit to the Tamar Project was held on 8/9/18 in Regencia (ES) - a location indicated by the State for installing the Technical Information Center (TIC).

During the visit, the staff of the Renova Foundation was accompanied by the Superintendent of the ICMBio in the State of Espirito Santo, Mr. Jose Carlos Thome, and the Tamar Project Manager in Regencia, Mr. Carlos Sangalia. Renova's team concluded that the indicated area fulfills the objective of the Information for the Population Program, described in clause 174, which stipulates that the Foundation shall establish a TIC in the State of Espirito Santo, designed to communicate and inform the population about socio-environmental and economic aspects of this area.

During the visit, the ICMBio and Tamar Project teams reported that currently the site receives an average of 400 visitors/month, which is an expressive number and will contribute to the dissemination of information and actions to be presented in this space by the Renova Foundation. It is important to note that some improvements will need to be made to existing infrastructures.

In addition, we inform that the Renova Foundation has filed letter SEQ11826/2018/GJU with the Technical Board of Communication, Participation, Dialogue and Social Control (CT-CPDCS) and the Inter-federative Committee (CIF), informing about the visit and requesting consent for the installation of the TIC in Regencia (ES).

The 4th workshop was held at the Casa do Jardim in Mariana (MG), to construct the Participative Definition of the Occupation Plan, Pedagogical Proposal and Shared Management of Operation. Presented during the workshop was the consolidated list of topics identified in the 3rd workshop. Based on this, the participants chose new topics of interest and constructed a Plan of Action for each one, namely:
• Stories and Causes;
• Courses and Workshops;
• Art Exposition;
• Dance and Music;
• Income Generation; and,
• Entrepreneurship.

As a result, meetings are being held to define actions related to the commercialization of products, art exhibitions, cultural activities, among others, in the TIC of Mariana (MG).

On August 22, after the installation of the scenarios (Tablet, Scale Model and Timeline), the TIC of Mariana (Casa do Jardim) was opened with the new adjustments for visits, and the space was well received by the visitors.

Defined (by the State and TB) was the location for implementation of the Technical Information Center of Espirito Santo - to be installed in the district of Regencia. Based on this definition, in August, a visit will be scheduled to the Tamar Project, location indicated by the state for installation, and to initiate contact.

And for the TIC of Governador Valadares (MG), in addition to the items mentioned above, the 2nd and 3rd workshops have focused on the construction of the concept of the space.

For the Technical Information Center of Mariana, progress was made regarding the installation of the Scenarios - different spaces for presentation of information on the actions of Renova, this month being studied, and the installation of the tablets. In development is the application (APP) with digital and interactive content for use on these devices, with the addition of headphones to present topics related to the Renova Foundation programs.

During the period of operation of the Technical Information Centers (CITs), participatory workshops were held with those interested. The goal was to involve the community, reinforcing the sense of belonging and the appropriation of this space.

In June, the Renova Foundation also developed the 1st workshop in Mariana, to build the participative definition of the Occupation Plan, the pedagogical proposal and the Shared Management Model of the Functioning of this site. In the CIT of Governador Valadares (MG), in addition to these proposals for participatory construction, the 1st workshop focused
on the construction of the concept of the space.

Whereas in the CIT in Mariana progress was made with the actions to install the Scenarios, which are separate spaces for presenting information on Renova’s actions.

The program carried out technical visits, on January 10 and 29, together with the team of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), to the Residents Information Center in Governador Valadares (MG). The objective was to collect information and get to know the location to be able to continue with the design of the space.

In the second week of January, the renovation of the external space of the Residents Information Center in Mariana was completed. This environment will also provide for community activities.

Now the renovation has been completed, the Information and Service Center (Cia) in Mariana was transferred to the new location. Apart from registering and monitoring requests and complaints, clarifying doubts and meeting the demands of those affected, the new address integrates other actions with the objective of bringing people closer to the reparation works. The first integration activities of the center with the community started with the Summer Connection project.

The structural renovation was completed of the building that will house the Residents Information Center of Mariana in Minas Gerais. The whole setting of the location was adapted to create a space of interaction and information regarding the actions of the Renova Foundation towards the population. In this location will also operate the Information and Service Center, ready to receive requests by the community.

The Renova Foundation teams made a technical visit to the Residents Information Center of Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais, and during the visit, collected information on the necessary improvements to the infrastructure of the site.

It was also agreed with the Federal University of Espirito Santo (UFES) to submit, in March 2018, the technical and commercial proposal for the design of the State Residents Information Center.

Its rooms are also being reorganized in order to create a space for interaction and information for the population regarding the actions of the Renova Foundation. At this location will also be opened the Information and Service Center, prepared to receive queries from the community.

On November 8, Renova presented the progress of this project to the Technical Board of Communication, Participation, Dialogue and Social Control. It is expected that the entire structure will be completed in January 2018 so that the Information Center can begin its operation in the first half of the year.

Studies are underway to define improvements to the Information Centers. Nine training sessions were held with the communication agents (responsible for providing support through the Information and Service Centers), focusing on the actions of the Renova Foundation programs and aiming at improving the level of information to be passed on to people contacting the Costumer Service Channels of the Foundation.
