The Summer Connection, an event that joined various activities and cultural workshops for children and teenagers, ended on January 29 in Mariana (MG) with an event for families on the Gomes Freire Square.
With an extensive program since January 16, 19 workshops were held, which included visits to the municipality’s places of cultural interest, as well as various classes, such as circus, capoeira, dance and rap productions. At the end of each day, the result of the activities was presented to the groups.

ENHANCE LOCAL JOBS OPPERTUNITIES
The initiative included the participation of various artistic groups in the region, enhancing local cultural productions and events. One of them was Núcleo D, of the district Passagem de Mariana, responsible for the street dance workshop.
The Summer Connection was also held in Barra Longa (MG), on the Manoel Lino Mol Square on the 22nd. Residents had fun with games and a show by the local band Samba Nosso. The project was a partnership between the municipalities of Mariana and Barra Longa, SESI Mariana and the Renova Foundation.
