The action strengthens the commitment of the Renova Foundation to maintain an increasingly transparent dialogue with society
The automatic air quality and weather monitoring station of Barra Longa (MG) is registered in the system of the State Environmental Foundation (Feam). This way, the entire population can have access, in real time, to the air quality information in the district. The action strengthens the commitment of the Renova Foundation to maintain an increasingly transparent dialogue with society.
“The data are available in a clear and accessible way to anyone who has an interest in consulting them. With a transparent relationship, we will strengthen the idea of working together to rebuild the impacted areas”, says Monique Bodart, environmental technician.
Through an online platform, the information collected by the station is sent to the Feam database, available on the institution’s website. There, the technical data of total suspended particles, inhalable particles and respirable particles are shown in a simple and didactic way, and classified according to a quality scale that goes from great to bad or critical.
