Developed by the Renova Foundation in partnership with the Wylinka organization, the initiative will encourage entrepreneurship and foster innovative and sustainable businesses in Mariana and the region. The program aims to strengthen existing businesses, develop new businesses and foster technological innovation.
For Gabriela Metzer, specialist in Economics and Innovation at the Renova Foundation, Mariana Labs is yet another agent of the city’s entrepreneurship and innovation movement. “The program aims to contribute to the diversification of Mariana’s economic matrix, historically dependent on the mining sector, through the generation of new businesses, new jobs and new forms of profitability for entrepreneurs and also for the municipality,” she says.
