Restoration of tributaries and riverbanks: understand the recovery works for riverbeds

Since the beginning of the environmental recovery works, 101 tributaries of the Doce River basin impacted by the collapse of the Fundão dam were rehabilitated. In addition, 800 hectares of riverbanks were re-vegetated with fast-growing species.
