Indemnities: Learn about the Renova Foundation’s Mediated Indemnity Program

The Mediated Indemnity Program (PIM) seeks to compensate those affected without the procedures and costs of a lawsuit. Taking part is completely voluntary and free of charge. The program is divided into two modalities: General Damage and Water Damage. The latter has already served 250,000 people in the states of Minas Gerais and Espirito Santo. More than 161 thousand payments have been made so far, totaling R$ 159 million.
